I have been contacted this week by James Enevoldson, the proprietor of H Coleman Tailoring in Rodney Street Liverpool to advise that he is no longer able to provide red tailcoats and regalia to the Society with immediate effect. This decision flows from his personal relocation to the London area, and from the decision of Rob Bayliff, formerly of Byrne's Tailors in Formby to withdraw his services in support of James at Rodney Street.

This is clearly not a desirable position for the Society, but please be assured that the Committee will be approaching other suppliers in the very near future to secure a hopefully continuous on-going service at reasonable cost. Until that time we can only recommend that clubs source their red tailcoat requirements wherever and with whoever they can. Without any form of recommendation at this stage there are known suppliers in Birkenhead and in Swinton, Manchester (and perhaps others) who may well be able to assist those clubs whose Captains come into office late this year and early next.
